BSF personnel in election duty commits suicide

Lucknow, Apr 15 (UNI) A BSF personnel today committed suicide by hanging himself in the Civil Lines area of Shahjahanpur.

According to police, Iqbal Singh, 39, was appointed as security personnel in the 195 Battalion of Company B under the Jaitu Mandi police station in Punjab.

Singh was on duty for the third phase of assembly election in the Civil Lines area of Shahjahanpur.

He was staying with other BSF personnel in the Islamiya College of the district when he committed suicide.
