Arjun Singh to inaugurate edu drive in J'khand tomorrow

Ranchi, Apr 16 (UNI) Union Human Resources Development (HRD) Minister Arjun Singh will tomorrow inaugurate 'School Chalen Hum' (let us go to school) programme, 2007 in Jharkhand.

Informing this, state HRD minister Bandhu Tirkey said about two lakh children in Jharkhand were still denied their right to education adding all the MLAs were urged to ensure their participation for successful completion of the programme.

''All those deprived of their basic eduction would be brought to schools through the programme,'' Mr Tirkey said.

He said three-phase workshop from state to block level will begin from tomorrow adding state level workshop was scheduled on April 17, district level on April 19 and block level on April 21.
