289 bottles of liquor seized, six arrested in Jamnagar

Jamnagar, Gujarat, Apr 16 (UNI) Six persons have been arrested and 289 bottles of Indian made foreign liquor (IMFL) worth Rs 1.16 lakh seized from their possession here.

The police yesterday arrested Jayubha Pratapsingh Jadeja, Harendra Singh Kanaksingh Jadeja, Sajid Ismail Sheikh, Karabhai Nareshbhai Sujani, Juwansingh Nawalsingh Rathod and Ashwin Babulal with the liquor consignment, Jamnagar police sources today said.

Apart from the consignment, three vehicles - Bollero, Santro and an autorickshaw, three cell phones were recovered from their possession, sources added.
