13 arrested for cricket betting

Jaipur, Apr 16 (UNI) Jaipur police have arrested 13 people involved in cricket betting in connection with the ongoing cricket world cup matches after raiding two premises in the city.

Vishal Bansal, SP, Jaipur city, said the police team arrested 8 people involved in betting during the Super 8 Ireland -Australia match from Indira Bazar and five more were arrested found betting during the South Africa and New Zealand match from Vidhaydhar Nagar area till now.

The police seized Rs 13,000 in cash, one suitcase, 26 mobile phones, two TVs one laptop MP 4, one mouth speaker, two basic phone and other gadgets used for betting from the premises.
