Vaishnodevi pilgrims among 27 injured in accident

Jammu, Apr 14 (UNI) At least 27 persons, including some pilgrims, to Vaishno Devi, were injured when a passenger bus skidded off the road on Jammu-Katra road, near here this morning.

Police said the passenger bus was on its way from Katra to Jammu when it skidded off the road and fell into a gorge causing injuries to 27 passengers, just few km away from the holy town of Katra.

Four of the critically injured pilgrims were shifted to Government Medical College Hospital (GMCH) Jammu, where their condition was stated to be critical.

Identity of the injured could not be ascertained most of them were said to be local residents along with some returning pilgrims.
