Statue of Ambedkar unveiled in city

Visakhapatnam, Apr 14 (UNI) A statue of Architect of Indian Constitution B R Ambedkar was unveiled by Greater Visakha Municipal Corporation (GVMC) Mayor P Janardhana Rao in the city today.

Later, political leaders and people from all walks of life paid rich tributes to the statue.

The Social Welfare Department and SC Corporation organised several programmes and distributed Rs 201.73 lakh to 4516 people.
