Rich tributes paid to Constitution Architect Ambedkar

Bangalore, Apr 14 (UNI) Rich tributes were paid to Constitution Architect Ambedkar throughout Karnataka on his 116th birth anniversary.

At the main function organised in front of the Vidhana Soudha, the State Secretariat, Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy, his deputy B S Yediyurappa, Opposition leader in the Legislative Assembly N Dharam Singh, KPCC President Mallikarjuna Kharge and several Ministers garlanded the life-size statue of Dr Ambedkar and paid their respect.

As Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy garlanded the statue of Ambedkar, flowers were showered from helicopter.

Various Dalit organisations also celebrated the birth anniversary throughout the State.
