Rains likely in TN, Kerala, NE states

Pune, Apr 14 (UNI) Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Telangana, Rayalseema, Tamil Nadu and Kerala and at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal and Sikkim, Orissa, Vidarbha, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka state, Andman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over Jharkhand, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat state and Konkan and Goa.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at many places in Telangana and at a few places in Orissa, Jharkhand, south interior Karnataka and Kerala and at isolated places in Uttarakhand, Chhattisgarh, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalseema, Tamil Nadu and north interior Karnataka.

Mainly dry weather prevailed at Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal and Sikkim, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Gujarat state, Konkan and Goa, central Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada and coastal Karnataka.

Severe heat wave conditions prevailed at isolated places in Haryana and north west Rajasthan. Heat wave condtions also prevailed in some parts of east Rajasthan. Hot day conditions prevailed at isolated places in west Rajasthan. Day temperatures were markedly above normal in Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and in remaining parts of Rajasthan; appreciably above normal in west Uttar Pradesh, west Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, coastal Karnataka and were above normal in east Madhya Pradesh and in some parts of Gujarat state, Marathwada, Chhattisgarh, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

They were markedly below normal in Bihar; appreciably below normal in some parts of West Bengal and Sikkim, east Uttar Pradesh and were below normal in Orissa and in some parts of Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and in remaining parts of Gujarat state. They were normal over the rest of the country.
