PDP welcomes third round-table conference on Kashmir

Srinagar, Apr 14 (UNI) Welcoming the third round-table Conference on Kashmir, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), a partner in the Congress led coalition government, said it must be result-oriented.

The proposed third round-table conference scheduled to be held in New Delhi on April 24 must be result-oriented and the recommendations finalised by the four Working Groups should be approved for implementation, the PDP patron Mufti Mohammad Sayed said, while addressing a public meeting at Lolab in the frontier district of Kupwara today.

''I am sure these recommendations, when implemented would provide the much-needed break-through in addressing the internal dimensions of the Kashmir issue by taking care of the aspirations and grievances of the people from all the regions, religions and ethnic groups of the State,'' he said.

He expressed hope that every effort should, be made to make the Conference all-inclusive by involving people with varying shades of opinion, including the separatists, in the discourse.
