Kerala: NCP leaders to join Cong (S)

Kottayam, Apr 14: The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leaders in the district today said they have quit the party and will be joining the Congress (S) in protest against the political stance of the NCP leadership.

Mr Saji Nainan, Mr C M Savior, Mr G Radhakrishnan and other leaders of the NCP would join the Congress (S) at a public convention on April 25, the leaders said here.

They also appealed to NCP MLA A K Sasindran to resign from the Assembly before staging agitation against the LDF Government.

The NCP leaders would join the Congress (S) at a convention to be held at Kottayam on April 25.

Congress (S) State President Rmachandran Kadannappally would participate in the convention.
