Modi leaves on six-day visit to Japan
Gandhinagar, Apr 14 (UNI) A 40-member delegation, led by Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, today left on a six-day visit to Japan.
The delegation's itinerary includes a visit to Japan Chambers of Commerce and Industries and Indo-Japan Friendship Forum and other organisations in Tokyo, Osaka and Kobe.
There will be a series of one-to-one meetings with world famous companies such as Mitsubishi, Mitsui, Sumitomo, Marubeni, Suzuki, Toshiba, Nippon Steel, Nissan Steel, Etou, Unido and Tsuneshi Ship Building, a release here today said.
The delegation will deliberate on the development of port, infrastructural and human resource development sectors in Gujarat with their Japanese counterparts.
The delegation includes government chief secretary Sudhir Mankad, chief secretaries Industries D Rajgopalan, Gujarat Infrastructure Development Board (GIDB) chief executive A K Sharma and GSFC managing director P K Taneja.
