Minor fire in Rewari-Delhi Passenger train; no injuries
Gurgaon, Apr 14 (UNI) Tragedy was averted here this afternoon when a fire in 386 Rewari-Delhi Passenger train was put out before it could cause much damage.
The Driver of the train noticed the fire, which broke out in the generator room between the engine and the passenger compartments, and brought the train to a halt at Gurgaon station. A Quick reaction by railway authorities and action by fire department helped put out the blaze before it could spread further.
No one was injured in the incident.
The fire, which started at around 1255 hrs, was believed to have been caused by a short circuit.
