Khurana resigns from Uma's Bharatiya Janashakti Party
New Delhi, Apr 14 (UNI) Former Delhi Chief Minister Madan Lal Khurana has resigned from Uma Bharti-led Bharatiya Janashakti Party.
''I have resigned as the acting president of Bharatiya Janashakti Party'', he told mediapersons here today.
He said that he was resigning from the party owing to differences with Ms Bharti over her decision to lend support to Bharatiya Janata Party candidate in the ongoing UP Assembly elections.
Mr khurana announced that he would now form a 'third front' to contest assembly elections in Delhi that are due by the next year end.
''I will fight for full statehood for the national capital,'' he added.
