IPS transferred in UP

Lucknow, Apr 14 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh government today transferred a senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officer in the state.

ADG, ATC Sitapur, S Mala Ji has been transferred in the same capacity to PTC Sitapur.

Besides, the state government has given new postings to six IPS officers removed earlier on the Election Commission directive.

Rizwan Ahmad has been made the new IG, anti-corruption, while Chhavi Nath Singh is IG, Railways, Allahabad.

R N Yadav is DIG, training headquarters, Lucknow, while Amitabh Thakur is SP, SCRP Lucknow.

Navneet Sikera is 32nd PAC battalion commandant and Durga Charan Mishra is SP Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation, Lucknow.
