Girl shot dead in Patna

Patna, Apr 14 (UNI) A girl was shot dead by some unidentified miscreants at Harimandir area under City Chowk police station here today.

Police said criminals shot the girl Meena Kumari, while she was returning home after taking a holy dip in the Ganges on the occasion of Vaisakhi.

The girl, a resident of Kalisthan area here, succumbed to her injuries on the spot.

Police said the reason behind the killing was being investigated and added that raids were on to nab the criminals.
