Eight killed as truck, van collides

Jaipur, Apr 14 (UNI) Eight people were killed and eight others injured when a truck collided with a pick-up van on Agra-Jaipur national highway early this morning.

Police said the accident occurred on Dausa bypass near Civil Lines around 0800 hrs.

The pick-up van was going from Mainpuri in Uttar Pradesh towards Ajmer while the truck was on its way to Bharatpur from Jaipur.

Police said four of the deceased have been identified.

as Vijaykumar Khatik, Amarpal, Badan Singh and Bunty.

Three of the injured have been brought to Sawai Man Singh hospital here.
