Cong will fail to gain power anywhere: Mulayam

Farrukhabad, Apr 14 (UNI) Lambasting the Congress-led UPA government at the Centre, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and ruling Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav today claimed the Congress will not be able to gain power in any state.

''Over the years, Congress' mass base has considerably dipped and the party's defeat in the recently concluded MCD election proves it,'' Mr Yadav said while addressing an election gathering here.

The former defence minister noted ''Congress is anti-people as it always gives preference to affluent bussinessmen while preparing the Delhi budget. The party has nothing to do with the grievances of people.'' ''The opposition is unnecessarily training guns at me, but no one has the capability to shake pillars of the my over three-year-old UP government as people are with SP,'' the CM claimed.
