Car bomb on Baghdad bridge kills 8: Police

Baghdad, Apr 14: A car bomb on the southern Baghdad Jadriyah bridge killed eight people and wounded 11 today, police said, the second major attack on a bridge in the last two days.

On Thursday, a truck bomb killed at least seven people on Sarafiya bridge in northern Baghdad, destroying most of the steel structure and sending several cars plunging into the River Tigris below.
