Body of abducted child recovered from factory

Ranchi, Apr 14 (UNI) Police today recovered the body of a 14-year-old boy, abducted two and a half months ago, from a tank construction factory on the outskirts of Jharkhand's capital.

The boy Prashat, of Shamlong-Belbagan locality, was abducted on February 13.

Police said the kidnapper, identified as Ganpat, had been arrested from Munger district of Bihar and about 25 persons had also been detained for investigation.

Acting on the information obtained from Ganpat the body was recovered from the tank construction company located in the Namkom area, police added.
