Blast injures cop

Kozhikode, Apr 14 (UNI) A policeman sustained injuries in an explosion at Perambra Police Station in the district early today.

Police said constable Ratheesh was injured in the blast which occurred in a car shed at the police station at around 1130 hrs.

A jeep, two motorcycles and windowpanes of two nearby houses were damaged in the impact.

Bomb squad and senior police officials have rushed to the station.
