At least 20 killed in flash floods
Bangkok, Apr 14 (UNI) At least 20 people were killed and many reported missing in flash floods at three waterfalls in the southern Thai province of Trang this afternoon.
The flash floods, following heavy rains, hit the area near the two waterfalls, four kilometres apart, in Yan Takhao district of the province.
According to news reports, 18 bodies had been recoverd at the two waterfalls while rescue work was still on.
About 300 rescuers from different government agencies are engaged in the search and rescue work.
