Actor Dulipala buried

Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, Apr 14 (UNI) The mortal remains of veteran Telugu Film actor Dulipala Sitaramasastry (88), who died yesterday was buried in the premises of the Veda school, founded by him here.

Amidst chanting of vedic hymns the body was lowered into the grave as thousands of people wailed and shouted 'Dulipala Jai'.

As Dulipala became a sanyasi, the 'Yeti' tradition and procedure of burial was followed.

Ramakrishna, son of late actor and former Chief Minister N T Rama Rao also attended the funeral. He recalled Dulipala's close association with his father.

Representatives of several fine arts associations, religious matts, ashrams and temples attended the funeral.
