Three ultras killed in gang rivalry

Garwah, Apr 12 (UNI) Three ultras were killed in a gunbattle between the banned CPI(Maoist) and Tritiya Prastuti Committee(TPC) in Garwah district early today.

Police said the encounter lasted about two hours between the outfits at Gobardaha village under Meral police station area.

Police had recovered the bodies which were yet to be identified.

Sources said the deceased belonged to the CPI(Maoist).

On April 9 eight ultras, including a top TPC leader, were killed in a fierce gun battle between the outfits at Bhar jungle under Balumath police station of Latehar district.
