Mumbai, Apr 12: Ms Sarangi, wife of Praveen Mahajan, accused in the murder of BJP leader and elder brother Pramod Mahajan, has claimed that she received threats from alleged BJP activists on the Sessions court premises today.

Ms Sarangi told the court that some persons forced her to get up from the chair on which she was sitting outside the court room.

She said three to four persons came up to her and said, ''Kurchi Khali Kara Amche Munde Saheb Aale haye, Tyana Basayala Dya'' (get up from the chair, our boss Mr Munde has come, allow him to sit on the chair).

They also threatened a woman constable saying, ''Tyana Uthwa Kurchi warna, Nahi Tar Tumchi Naukari Jaeel'' (remove her from that chair otherwise you will loose your job), she added.

After hearing her, Additional Session Judge S P Davare, who is conducting trial in Pramod Mahajan murder case, asked Ms Sarangi to file an application through her advocate.

While talking to reporters outside the court premises, Ms Sarangi said three to four persons forced her to get up from the chair she was sitting on outside the court premises.

When she told them that this is not the way to talk to a woman, they said, 'Tumi Hithe Basayacha Nahi, Nighun Jaa eethun' (do not sit here, go away from here).

She was afraid of her and her children's life because she comes alone to the court, she added.

On being asked whether she knows any of those persons, she said, ''No.'' Ms Sarangi said her advocate has prepared an application and will submit it in the court.
