Nitin Fire picks up 10 pc stake in a Rajasthan oil block
Mumbai, Apr 12 (UNI) Nitin Fire Protection Industries (NFPIL) has picked up 10 per cent stake for an undisclosed sum along with six other petroleum companies for exploring and prospecting crude oil in a block in Rajasthan.
In a statement here today, the company said its six other partners in the consortium are GSPC (20%), GAIL (20%), HPCL (20%), BPCL (10%), Hallworthy (10%) and Silverware(10%).
The consortium, Nitin Fire said, was awarded the contract last month for Oil Block No. RJ-ONN-2004/1 , spread over an area of 4,613 sq. km.
NFPIL, which provides end-to-end solutions for fire protection, safety and security, said they have also received orders for providing gaseous fire suppression system for the control room of Reliance Petroleum at its Jamnagar Refinery and for supply of 13 CNG Cascade to Delhi-based Indraprastha Gas early this month.
