Nikkei down 0.4 pc as tech stocks fall on Wall St

Tokyo, April 12: The Nikkei share average fell 0.39 percent on Thursday with technology shares such as Advantest Corp. down following a fall in similar U.S. stocks.

The Nikkei was down 68.42 points at 17,601.65 as of 0001 GMT. The TOPIX shed 0.35 percent to 1,733.01.
