NCDEX records trade worth Rs 5,725 cr

Mumbai, Apr 12 (UNI) About 602 members (2,511 users) of the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX) today participated in trading up to 1700 hrs and volumes worth Rs 5,725 crore (one-way) were traded.

There were 1,59,280 trades put through by them. Active trades were in pepper, jeera, chana, guarseeds, chilli and refined soya oil a NCDEX release here said.

Yesterday, about 591 members participated in trading and put through 1,33,500 trades. The volume of trading yesterday till 2330 hrs was around Rs 4,267 crore (one-way). Active trades were in pepper jeera, chana, guarseed, refined soya oil and chilli, the release added.
