Motorcycle rider killed in accident

Surat, Apr 11 (UNI) A motorcycle rider was killed today when an unidentified truck hit his motorcycle, at Alkapuri overbridge in Katargam area here.

Police said the deceased, Chaganbhai Mohanbhai Koshiya, a resident of Makanji Park near Katargam Health Centre, was travelling on his bike when an unidentified truck hit the vehicle. Chaganbhai was severely injured in the accident and died on the spot.

Investigations are on in the matter.
