Kadur, Chitradurga recorded 2 cm rain
Bangalore, Apr 12 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the weather office here at 0830 hrs today.
Rainfall occurred at isolated places over Interior Karnataka and dry weather prevailed over Coastal Karnataka.
Chief amounts of rainfall (cm): Kadur, Chitradurga 2 each, Sira, Arsikere, Channapatna 1 each.
Maximum temperatures changed little over the State. They were appreciably above normal at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka and were normal over North Interior Karnataka.
Bellary recorded the highest maximum temperature of 40.8 degree celsius over the State.
Forecast valid until Saturday morning: Rain/ thundershowers likely to occur at isolated places over Interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather may prevail over Coastal Karnataka.
Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at isolated places over Gulbarga, Gadag, Koppal, Bijapur, Chitradurga, Shimoga, Bangalore Rural, Bangalore Urban, Mysore, Madikeri, Mandya, Chamarajnagara, Hassan, Chikmagalur districts.
Mainly dry weather may prevail over remaining districts of the State.
Local forecast: Partly cloudy. Thundery conditions likely towards evening/night. Maximum temperature would be around 35 degrees celsius.
