K'taka: Dr Shankar chosen for UK college fellowship

Gulbarga, Apr 12: M R Medical College Director Dr P S Shankar has been selected as a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, London.

The fellowship would be conferred on Dr Shankar on July 12 in London, according to a release here today.

Dr Shankar was the recipient of several international awards like Commonwealth Fellowship, Soviet Land Nehru award and Rockefeller Scholar in Residence award. He is on the international advisory board of Davidson's textbook of medicine for its 19th and 20th editions.
