Delimitation chief to visit Nagaland
Kohima, Apr 12 (UNI) Delimitation Commission of India Chairman Kuldip Singh will visit Nagaland following requests by various tribal groups and leaders in the national capital.
The Joint Action Committee (JAC), which is demanding full implementation of the Delimitation Act, 2002, recently met Mr Singh and impressed upon him to issue directive to the Nagaland government to carry out delimitation exercise.
MLAs E T Ezung and Vatsu Meru, representing eleven MLAs from Wokha, Peren, Longleng and Kiphire districts and Tseminyu sub-division under Kohima district and Secretary of the JAC, Idailung Thou, are presently camping in New Delhi.
