Itanagar, Apr 12 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Dorjee Khandu would decide the members to be inducted into his ministry and all Congress MLAs have already agreed in 'black and white' to accept the decision, according to state government spokesman Tako Dabi.

Briefing mediapersons here this morning, he informed that all the MLAs have supported Mr Khandu's leadership and would abide by his decision.

'' Khandu will be the sole authority to choose his team after due consultation with party's high command and there is no dispute in this regard among the members,'' he said, adding that the new ministry would be sworn in immediately after the Chief Minister's return from Delhi.

Pointing out the priority areas of the new government, Mr Dabi informed that all efforts would be made to root out corruptions, besides measures would be initiated to streamline the public distribution system and revival of the sick state government owned Cooperative Apex Bank.

'' Our government would also work to regenerate the party and all workers would be given due importance'', he added.

Commenting on the present sorry state of affairs of the Apex Bank, Mr Dabi said the new government would constitute a core committee to go into the details on various aspects for its revival and present its report to the Chief Minister for further action.

''Befitting action would be initiated against those responsible for the present condition of the bank'', he warned.

When asked about the Cabinet decision in October last year to handover the bank's scam to CBI, Mr Dabi lamented that despite such a decision, the previous government till date had not handed over the case to the investigation agency.

''It is very unfortunate and one of the reasons for our revolt against former Chief Minister Gegong Apang, who ran his government casually'', he alleged.

Assuring that the new government would provide full-fledged transparency in its functioning, the spokesman informed that the bribery case against PWD Chief Engineer (East Zone) had been referred to the State Investigation Committee (SIC), which would go into details and award punishment accordingly to the erring officials.
