BSP, Cong against Muslims: Mulayam
Badaun, Apr 12 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh chief minister and ruling Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Mulayam Singh Yadav today lambasted Congress and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) for their ''anti-Muslim'' strategies.
Addressing an election meeting here, Mr Yadav said only SP could stop BJP from coming to power.
Congress and BSP claim to be the well-wishers of Muslims...but, they did not raise their voice, when Iraq's deposed President Saddam Hussain was hanged on the directions of the US, he observed.
''SP has always fought for the welfare of Muslims,'' he added.
Mr Yadav cautioned that while BSP chief Mayawati is claiming to put him behind jail if she came to power, BJP is for compulsory recital of Vande Mataram in schools.
