AP: Dogs' attack, HRC asks MCH to submit report

Hyderabad, Apr 12: The Andhra Pradesh Human Rights Commission (APHRC) has directed the Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad (MCH) and Koti Womens college to submit a report on the recent incident of attack by stray dogs on college girls in which seven were injured.

Taking suo moto the media reports on the dogs' attacks on the students in college premises, the APHRC team visited the college and conducted an inquiry into the incident.

Later, speaking to newspersons here, APHRC Chairman Justice Subhashan Reddy said he directed the college authorities, MCH and police to submit a report on the incident by April 30.

''The victims suffered physically and mentally. After studying the reports, we will take a decision on the compensation to be paid to the victims,'' he said.
