ACCI welcomes govt strategy

Itanagar, Apr 12 (UNI) Arunachal Chamber of Commerce and Industries(ACCI) today assured Chief Minister Dorjee Khandu all possible cooperation in supplementing all efforts for speedy socio-economic development.

While welcoming the new chief minister and his three-pronged strategy to expedite all-round development in the state, the ACCI president Techi Lala said, ''The revival of the sick Apex Bank, the lone state-owned bank, overhauling of the public distribution system and onslaught on corruption would herald a new chapter in the state,'' The Chamber has always identified itself with the spirit of the people in urging the Centre for various development works. The demand to hand over NH-52 to Border Road Organisation, construction of a rail-cum-road bridge at Bogibeel over the Brahmaputra as approved by the then Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda and construction of around 100 km railway line from Rupai in Asom to Parsuram Kund in Lohit district for which Railway Minister Laloo Prasad has okayed survey, are some of the major initiatives of the Chamber.

UNI
