Bangalore, Apr 11 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the weather office here at 0830 hrs today.
Rainfall occurred at isolated places over the State.
Chief amounts of rainfall (cm): Subramanya 4, Navalgund 2 Tyagarthi 1.
Maximum temperatures changed little over the State.
They were above normal at many places over South Interior Karnataka; appreciably above normal at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and above normal at a few places over North Interior Karnataka.
Bellary recorded the highest maximum temperature of 40.7 degrees celsius over the State.
Forecast valid until Friday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at at isolated places over State.
Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at isolated places over Dakshina Kannada, Udipi, Gulbarga, Bidar, Bijapur, Koppal, Gadag, Dharwad and all the districts of South Interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather may prevail over remaining districts of the State.
Local forecast: Partly cloudy. Thundery conditions possible towards Evening/night. Maximum temperature would be around 35 degrees celsius.
