Saurav meets Orissa CM

Bhubaneswar, Apr 11 (UNI) Accompanied by national selector Ranjib Biswal and BJD MP Baijant Panda, former Team India Captain Saurav Ganguly today met Orissa Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at Naveen Nivas.

Though Mr Ganguly spent some time with the Chief Minister but he refused to divulge the purpose of his meeting with the Chief Minister.

Mr Patnaik also declined to say anything to the media about the discussion with Mr Ganguly stating that it was only a courtesy call by the latter.

However, there was speculation in the sports circle here that Mr Ganguly is keen to have a Cricket Academy in Orissa and his wife Dona Ganguly is interested to set up an Oddisi Academy in the state.
