Rs One lakh stolen from carriage space of scooter

Surat, Apr 11 (UNI) An unidentified person broke open the carriage space of a scooter parked in Kot Safil road here and stole Rs 1,00,000.

Sources said Kishorebhai Harisingh Paramar, a resident of Singapore in the city, parked his scooter on the Kot Safil Road yesterday evening and went for some personal business.

When Mr Parmar came back, he found that carriage space of his scooter was broken and Rs 1,00,000 were stolen from it.

Parmar later filed a complaint with Athwa police and investigations are on in the matter.
