One killed, five injured as hoarding collapses in city

Hyderabad, Apr 11 (UNI) One person was killed and five others were injured when an advertisement hoarding collapsed on an ice cream parlour at the posh Jubilee hills area due to heavy downpour and galewinds in the city today.

Police said the accident took place when the five workers were engaged in their duties and the civilians, who was on the way.

The deceased was identified as Kausar(22) and the four injured workers were identified as Ajas, Younos, Adil, while the injured civilian was identified as Ajay (20).

They were admitted to a Corporate Hospital here.

Investigations were underway, police added.
