'Moolnivasi Mela' commences today

Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh, Apr 11 (UNI) A four-day 'Moolnivasi Mela'commenced today in view of the Jyothirao Phule and Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar birth anniversaries.

The mela was organised by East Godavari District wing of All India Backward Minority Communities Employees Fedration(ABMCEF).

Mayor Adi Reddy Veeraraghavamma, was among others, who garlanded the statue of Jyotirao Phule on the banks of Godavari river in the town.

Several competitions and seminar were conducted on the occasion.
