Mandal takes charge as state Electoral officer

Ranchi, Apr 11(UNI) Jharkhand's former chief secretary M K Mandal will be the new state electoral officer.

Official sources here said today that Chief Minister Madhu Koda has recommended the name of Mr Mandal to the Governor Syed Sibtey Razi adding official announcement would be made after Governor's approval.

The post of SEC was lying vacant after former state electoral officer G Krishnan retired in December 12, 2006.
