Low pressure forms over cape Comorin

Chennai, Apr 11 (UNI) A low pressure area has formed over cape Comorin area and adjoining Sri Lanka, and lay centered over Gulf of Mannar and Lanka.

Weather Office sources told UNI today that under its influence rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places over South Tamil Nadu and in Thanjavur, Nagapattinam and Tiruvarur Districts.

Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely at a few places over the remaining districts of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
