Dubai, Apr 11: Engineering and construction major Larsen&Toubro is set to finish the construction of a large fuel storage depot at the Kuwait airport on schedule.

The work taken up by L&T, which signed the contract in May 2006, is progressing according to schedule.

The depot is due for completion in May 2008, a statement said.

Kuwait Aviation Fuelling Company (Kafco) Board Chairman Adel Al-Sharhan said that the storage capacity of the depot is estimated to be 56 million litres, as against capacity of the currently used storage facilities of 27 million litres.
