Kidnapped teacher rescued, 3 of gang arrested

Etawah, Apr 11 (UNI) A teacher kidnapped from Bharthana area of the district recently was rescued and three of the kidnappers arrested.

On March 16, Rajesh Pasi, a Primary School teacher, Bharthana was kidnapped by some miscreants, SP (Etawah) Ram Kumar said.

District's Special Operation Group (SOG), which was deployed to rescue the victim, was able to trace him in jungles of Jarpura.

Three of those allegedly involved in the kidnapping -- Satyaveer, Ram Autaar and Lallan -- have been arrested. They had demanded Rs six lakh as ransom.

A reward of Rs 42,000 has been announced for cops involved in the rescue.
