Khandelwal rules out Uma's re-entry to BJP

Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh, Apr 11 (UNI) Former BJP Vice-President Pyarelal Khandelwal has ruled out Bharatiya Jan Shakti President Uma Bharti's re-entry into the party.

''No efforts have been made in this regard. However, doors are never closed in politics,'' Mr Khandelwal told reporters here yesterday.

Ms Bharti left the party of her own will. She has to decide her own course in this situation, he added.

He said the BJP had emerged stronger in the battle for power in Uttar Pradesh.

Referring to the controversial CD episode, Mr Khandelwal said not arresting BJP President Rajnath Singh even after an FIR was lodged against him made the situation ''clear.'' UNI
