Janmorcha workers burn effigy of V P Singh
Varanasi, Apr 11: Janmorcha workers today burnt the effigy of their leader and former Prime Minister V P Singh outside the hotel, where Mr Singh was releasing the party manifesto.
JM workers angry over denial of ticket to Israr Ahmad from Chiraigaon assembly seat of the district burnt the effigy of Mr Singh outside the hotel where the former PM was releasing the party' election manifesto before the media.
Raising anti-V P Singh-Raj Babbar slogans, the JM workers also burnt the party flag.
The protests, however, were cleared from the road before Mr Singh left for Lucknow.
