IRCTC to build budget hotels at SWR rly stations

Hubli, Apr 11 (UNI) The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation proposed to build budget hotels at railway stations falling under the South Western Railway, its Regional Manager S Gagarin said today.

Talking to newspersons here, he said such hotels would come up in Bangalore, Tumkur, Yesvantpur, Mysore, Dharwad, Bijapur and Hubli.

A tourism division office would be opened in Bangalore soon for the purpose, he said, adding that it was also proposed to have a palace on wheels on the lines of Rajasthan soon.
