Indian ambassador meets PM Koirala
Kathmandu, Apr 11 (UNI) Indian ambassador to Nepal Shiv Shanker Mukherjee today met Nepal Nepal Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala at the latter's residence at Baluwatar.
According to Kantipur TV, they discussed the latest political situation in the country.
Mr Koirala said that the government was committed to hold Constituent Assembly elections.
''The other issue discussed during half an hour long meeting include construction of postal roads in Terai districts,'' said Mr Mukherjee.
Indian government would help Nepal in every step for the establishment of lasting peace, he added.
They also discussed the efforts launched on either side to control criminal activities along the Indo-Nepal border.
