Independent candidate booked for violating orders

Basti, Apr 11 (UNI) A case has been registered here against an independent Uttar Pradeah Assembly poll candidate for the alleged violation of prohibitory orders.

Police Superintendent Vijay Kumar Garg oday said local independent candidate Dayashankar Patwa is charged with violating section 144.

However, Patwa refuted the charges and alleged a conspiracy against him owing to his ''popularity.'' UNI
