Gang steals cable worth Rs 9.33 lakh BSNL cable in Vadodara

Vadodara, Apr 11 (UNI) In a FIR registered today, Divisional Engineer Rohitbhai Choksi said that copper cables worth Rs 9.33 lakh were stolen from Karelibaug to Muktananad char rasta of Jalaram temple area.

Sources said that a gang yesterday stole two underground BSNL telephone cables, measuring 600 metres each from the area.

The robbery came to light when 800 subscribers lost their connection and some 30 complaints were received, sources said.

Police is suspecting involvement of a professional gang, police said.
